We are delighted to announce that, after four years, Muhabura Kennel has welcomed another large and exceptionally promising litter.

The Luna × Blake puppies were born on 10 July 2026, with a total of 11 puppies – 7 females and 4 males.

This litter represents a new generation descending from Zek’s line, a heritage that holds exceptional value within our breeding program. We are thrilled with the overall quality of the litter. The puppies show excellent breed type, with no Dermoid Sinus (DS) detected so far (final checks are still ongoing) and very minimal white markings.

The litter includes:

7 standard puppies (4 females, 3 males)

1 ridgeless male with a small half crown

1 female with a unique combination of a small half crown and a very short half ridge – a pattern we have not encountered before

1 female with a single crown and a kinked tail

1 female with an offset, short ridge

Blake will be 4 y.o i May. He’s very friendly towards both people and other animals, and has no aggression in him at all.

MAYA & SONNY

Maya and Sonny’s only daughter arrived ❤️ We could call the last 2,5 months a roller coaster ride. First started with a long trip to Germany, where the maring was successfull. We spent 3 awsome days there, Göttingen is beautiful and thanks to Stefanie we ate a delicious hambuger there. Thank you again and also the fantastic pictures. 🙏 We were really tired but happy when we finally arrived home. On the 28th we were excited to go to the ultrasound, where the cold shower came… no puppies were seen. 😶 We wanted to find the reasons, as we did the progesteron test at the reprodutive biologist vet, previoussly we always had successful matings. One week later we went to a controll, and they saw one strong puppy with the ultrasound. The vet was also wondered you can imagime how astonished we were.😆 By that time we already gave up, and tried to live with the failure. 😊 Right on the spot I started to learn more about one puppy birth topics.🤭 I learned/heard horrifying statistics. I also became a member of Singleton Puppes (UK) group, where I could find really useful informations and I could read lot of positive stories. And of couse we were trusting of our vet fully. The vet did ultrasound and x-ray at the 59th day, I measured the temperature, and he decided the date of the birth. On the 22nd of May a new Muhabura puppy was born. 😍The first few days was hard, but Maya’s mother instincts woke up at the 3rd day.

Arel & Beso

The Muhabura Gahinga litter just arrived!

On 1st April, 12 beautiful puppies arrived from Arel and Beso. The weight of the puppies is between 385-550g. They have wonderful head structure, color and mask. The first night went smoothly, all of them are breast feeding and Arel is an amazing mother. There is 12 puppies: 8 male (7 standard, 1 has only 1 crown) 4 female (all standard) All of them has beautiful ridges, no kinky tail and in the moment no DS. Nice but not too much white marks. Thank you Arel and Beso these amazing puppies and I am grateful to Péter for helping me during the birth, to Anita who was looking after our new crazy puppy Maya Thank you Joanna for letting us using Beso, and thank you for your excitement! Male puppies are available. The Muhabura Gahinga litter is 8 days old. We had the one week old visit, where ds still wasn’t detected. Soon the eyes will open. The heads are still beautiful. The gang maturing well, the puppies are balanced. Arel is a caring and patient mother.

May 21-22
This weekend the Muhabura Gahinga puppies had a full chech. At saturday the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club come to chech them. From the 12 puppies 4 standard female and 6 standard male. 1 male has only one crown and 1 male has kinky tail. és 6 standard fiúnk lett végül. And 1 male grows another crown at the last part of the ridge. Bites and testicles are okay, DS was not found. At Sunday we made the Volhard puppy test. The puppies made the task at the part of the garden which was unkown for them. Huge thanks goes to Zsófi for testing our puppies and for the help to Kati. And also thank goes for the photos to Panni and Klaudia. We have some playful ones, antisocial princes and of couse charming princesses. The gang is “colourful”, the results are 3,4 and 5.

She may be mistrustful with the new unknown places but thanks to her curious nature she opens up very soon. After observing her surroundings she becomes initiating, sometimes shows sings of dominance. She recognizes her place in the crew even if it’s only temporary. She never initiates aggression, but stands up for herself if needed. She acts friendly and balanced with the puppies and if their temperament matches a huge game starts. However, if the puppies are overly obtrusive she may reprimand them. Zoé is extremely friendly with most bitches and male dogs.

I met Bikila in 2015 at a CACIB dogshow in Padova and it was love at first sight. After I got home I looked up his lineage which immediately amazed me. Bikila is an exceptionally elegant and imposing dog.

The litter born in 2013 lived up to our expectations and many Muhabura puppies achieved outstanding results at Dog Shows, but most importantly, each puppy made the new owners’ day! Having seen this I felt that Eli deserved to be a mummy again!

By experiencing the first litter I gained a lot of proficiency in dog breeding; and my most important principle is that it is the quality breeding of dogs that matter and not the quantitative „reproduction” of dogs.

Thus the search for a new father began! The more experience one has the more factors one considers in choosing a stud dog! In this case, besides health, nice appearance, and appropriate temperament, I deemed the pedigree, that is, the lineage to be crucially important!

That is how I chose Harmakhis Wisdom Quasar (Mch Pronkberg Makari & Ch HW Leeba).

I have already written about the importance of keeping the typical characteristics of the breed, but meeting the health and appearance requirements are highly important as well.

These three main factors – exceptional temper, beautiful appearance and healthy puppies – are the basics in choosing the male dog. I have put great efforts into finding a perfect match for Eli, and so I choose Harmakhis Wisdom Jock.
